We hunt in swamps, poccosons, thickets, briar patches and “SWAMPS”This hunt demands one to have physical strength and be able to move on there feet quickly. When you book with us everything is taken care of except your hunting license. When you arrive at our camp all of your needs are taken care of from there.Your meals will be provided. Transportation during the hunt is provided. Retrieval of your animal, Skinning, gutting and quartering of your animal for process is also included. You will be hunting over some of the finest bear dogs North Carolina has to offer. Our black bears are some of the largest in the world. Because of the abundance of agriculture it allows the bears to grow to where the cold does not bother them and they do not need to hibernate or go into torpor. Meaning they eat year round and simply grow! Our bears put on roughly 100-150 pounds a year. Meaning a 3 year old will weigh around 300-450 pounds.
